A harrowing incident unfolded in the Dandipur area of Ghatal, West Medinipur district, as a passenger bus lost control at high speed while overtaking a car on Ghatal Panskura State Highway. The bus veered off the road and plunged into a roadside pit, leaving numerous individuals injured.
According to local sources, the bus, en route from Mangrul to Panskura, was involved in the accident, resulting in several passengers sustaining injuries, with seven of them critically wounded.Emergency services rushed to the scene, promptly attending to the injured individuals. Seven seriously injured passengers were immediately transported to Ghatal Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
